In the light installation artwork by Diana Ramaekers entitled “Night Landscape”, the spectator feels as if he has stumbled into a strangely luminous night landscape. Daylight penetrates through small cracks and is filtered by coloured pieces of film, bathing the entire space in a glow of blue and orange light.

The colours create a subtle transition from day to night. Abstract tree landscapes, fields of intense colour, and amorphous reflections of light move inside a space at the meeting point between daylight and artificial light. Orienting yourself on the basis of the images is not possible, but you can simply surrender and lose yourself in the midst of an obscure night landscape.
