The oeuvre of Hilde Overbergh develops in and around everyday life. She zooms in on banal, trivial domestic situations in her paintings, collages and drawings. The works do not show the actual activity but instead show the traces of the activity. Examples on show during Glocal Affairs include: a skateboarding track, an office, a basketball net. The perspectives sought give an unusual twist to the work, that not only make identification more difficult but also ultimately make identification unnecessary.
