Lives and works in Liège
The concepts of “book" and “intoxication” come together in the title of the installation exhibited by Cathérine Koziel during Glocal Affairs: livre and l’ivresse. French-speaking artists love to give names to the worlds both within and around us. Through word-plays, new and alternative images can be conjured up. Language and images are in step with each other. Koziel’s view on the poetic content of this piece of work: “As soon as the reader opens the book, the story begins. It begins again. And again.”
